ISB Hyderabad Executive MBA Admission Process

The ISB Executive MBA admission process begins with submitting your application and documents, followed by verification and a detailed profile review. Shortlisted candidates are invited for a 30-minute interview, after which the Admissions Committee makes the final decision. Selected applicants may also be considered for scholarships based on merit and specific criteria.

Stage 1: Application Submission

Register on the official portal to begin your application process and complete the application along with all required supporting documentation online on the admissions portal before the application deadlines.

Stage 2: Application Verification

ISB will verify the completeness and accuracy of your application within 20 days of submission. In case of any missing document or mismatch of information, they will communicate the same to you, and you will have 3 days to address any insufficiency. Once the verification is complete, your application will be marked as ‘Verified’ in the application portal. Only verified applications proceed to further evaluation.

Stage 3:Interview Shortlist

All 'Verified' applications are subjected to a structured review of academics, relevant test scores, professional experience, extracurricular activities, essays, awards and recognitions, and recommendations.

You can indicate your preferred interview location as part of your application from a list that typically includes Tier-1 cities, or you can choose a virtual interview (Zoom) or an in-person interview. If shortlisted, you will receive an email notification 3-7 days prior to your scheduled interview.

Stage 5: Admissions Committee Review

Applications, after interview feedback, are reviewed in their entirety and presented to the Admissions Committee, which is composed of faculty and alumni members who make the final offer decisions.

Stage 6:Decision Notification

Candidates are informed of final decisions by email, in line with the published timeline for their application round.

Stage 7:Scholarship Decision

Shortlisted candidates can be invited for scholarship interviews based on a number of factors. The Scholarship Committee subsequently reviews the said interviews and then notifies the candidates.

ISB Hyderabad Executive MBA candidates must possess qualities such as strategic leadership potential, commitment to learning and growth, and management of global business. While candidates must meet the following requirements:

Academic: Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution

Professional experience:

• For PGP MAX, Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of full-time work experience (at least 3 years in a management role)

Such selected officers have to mandatorily provide an undertaking, which confirms their return to government service upon completion of the programme.
