GMAT Eligibility Criteria 2024: GMAT test results are taken into account for admission by thousands of business schools worldwide. The GMAT, or Graduate Management Admission Test, is a standardized exam designed to assess critical skills such as - quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning and data insights. These are the three sections tested in the GMAT exam.

Because it is adaptive, it adjusts questions to a person's ability level and gives an accurate assessment. To achieve competitive scores, one must master the GMAT material, methods, and time management techniques. To succeed on the GMAT, preparation requires commitment, discipline, and well-thought-out study strategies.

Under an adaptive test, the questions you will face are based on your answers. If you answer correctly, your following question(s) will be tougher but if you answer incorrectly, your following question(s) will be easier. Naturally, based on the difficulty of these scores, you will be awarded marks. More correct answers implies tougher questions which means higher marks.
