The Analytical Writing Assessment and the Integrated Reasoning Score are scored independently and have no bearing on the Total Scaled Score.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>The Quantitative and Verbal Sections:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The scaled score for the Quantitative and Verbal Sections of the GMAT is calculated using an algorithm. This contains the overall number of questions successfully answered, the number of questions answered within the time limit, and the level of difficulty (statistical features) of the questions answered.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Integrated Reasoning:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This section of the exam is not computer-adaptive and is graded on a scale of 1 to 8, with one-point increments. The Integrated Reasoning Score will not be provided on the same day as the examination; instead, applicants who choose to keep their score will get their official GMAT Score Report by mail, which will include the Integrated Reasoning Score.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>The Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) essay receives two scores: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One from a human reader and one from a computerised evaluation programme. If the points estimated by the two sources are similar or differ by exactly one point, the final score for the essay is obtained by averaging them. Quantitative, Verbal, Integrated Reasoning and Total scores are included in the Unofficial Score Report. With this information, you may decide whether you want to retake the GMAT test if you scored high enough to be admitted to your desired institutions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although the Unofficial Score Report can be useful, it cannot be utilised to get admission.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Official Score Report<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To receive your Official Score Reports, you must select up to 5 graduate business schools while registering for the GMAT.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GMAT results are valid for five years and are available to candidates for reporting for up to ten years.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Official Score Reports with your digital portrait and copies of your essays are released only on special request &#8211; when you take the exam or request an Additional Score Report.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can cancel your scores on the test day after your Score Preview, or you can cancel them for a charge within 72 hours of the scheduled time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you want to reinstate your scores after cancelling them, you can do so by logging into your MBA account. The ESR provides a complete analysis of a candidate&#8217;s performance &#8211; by question type, areas for attention, and pacing \u2013 so he may improve his preparations and do even better the following time. The GMAT Enhanced Score Report (ESR) also allows students to better focus on test-taking strategy, preparation, and future study. Applicants should keep in mind, however, that the ESR is available to help candidates better evaluate their strengths and shortcomings and should NOT be regarded as the Official Score Report.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Send Score Report to B-Schools<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Candidates are informed that before the day of the examination, aspirants have the option to select up to 5 programs\/colleges, they wish to send their GMAT Score Report. The Official Score Report of the candidate would be sent within 20 calendar days from the day of the test. This service is included within the registration fee and hence there are no extra charges levied on the student. Candidates are advised to choose their B-Schools wisely as once the selection has been successfully done candidates would not be allowed to modify or delete their choice of colleges. Quantitative, Verbal, Integrated Reasoning and Total Scores will be displayed. The total score is the sum of the Quantitative and Verbal sections&#8217; scores. Once you&#8217;ve seen your results, you must perform the following.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You will see your unofficial Quantitative, Integrated Reasoning, Verbal, and Total results and will have two minutes to accept or cancel them. You must now pick what minimal scores to report. If you do not make a decision, your scores will be cancelled automatically.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Do you have the time and resources to retake the GMAT if you cancel your scores? You are permitted to retake the exam within 16 days of the prior one. Although the GMAT Official Score Report is available in 20 days, the scores are supplied considerably sooner. So, before you cancel your score, you must determine if you will retake the GMAT or have your GMAT official score report submitted to your chosen graduate business programmes.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>When will I receive my GMAT scores?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Within 20 calendar days after your GMAT exam, you will receive your official score report. Pearson VUE will notify you via email once your scores are transferable.
